Our Origin Story

The journey of WeBox began in 2013 when Mr. and Mrs. Ming relocated to Silicon Valley. During a visit to a local Chinese restaurant, Mrs. Ming had an emotional response to the aroma of stir-fried pork, reminiscent of cherished family meals in China. This moment sparked an idea in Mr. Ming: to create a kitchen space where talented chefs and food entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds could focus on one mission—preparing exceptional food. Coupled with a robust logistics and technology platform for discovery, distribution, and last-mile delivery, this vision eventually evolved into the WeBox known today.
